Aaron Lech, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Lech graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry and holds a degree in biology from UC, San Diego. Upon graduation, he served in the Navy and practiced at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA, where he served as Director for both the Optometry Clinic and Specialty Contact Lens Services. In 2004, he relocated to northern California with his family and opened ClearVue Eye Care. Dr. Lech pursued optometry because, "I wanted a profession that allowed me to care for people, impact healthcare in the third world and devote myself to my family."
Leanne Liddicoat, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.
Dr. Leanne Liddicoat completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Davis in Economics. Her own eyesight issues and desire to help others led her into a career in optometry. She attended the University of California at Berkeley and completed a doctorate in Optometry in 1998, receiving awards for both her thesis work in emergency eye care as well as for her work in vision related learning disorders. With a passion for children, Dr. Liddicoat has coordinated school vision screenings, published articles and given many presentations on vision therapy to other colleagues, pediatricians, school teachers, administrators and parents. She enjoys fitting specialty contact lenses and managing ocular disease, as well as providing routine care and assessing vision –related learning problems. After practicing in a private practice in the South Bay Area for three years, she and her husband happily settled in the Sacramento area in 2001. She has transitioned her practice from the Rocklin/Citrus Heights areas to her new practice home in Roseville at ClearVue EyeCare.
Thomas Swanson, O.D.
Dr. Thomas Swanson graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1978, and is licensed in Ocular Therapeutics including the Management and Treatment of Ocular Disorders and Diseases. Dr. Swanson enjoys playing racquetball and occasional tennis at Johnson Ranch Racket Club in Roseville. He is so proud of his two children, Alyssa and Tyler. Alyssa is married and has a full time teaching job in Utah. Tyler is now out of the marines after serving four years, and is now attending college in Florida.
Lisa Hornick, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Lisa Hornick completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the State University of New York at Albany. She attended the Southern California College of Optometry on a scholarship from the US Navy and upon graduation served as an active duty Navy optometrist for four years at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and for another three years in Florida at the Naval Hospital Pensacola until her honorable discharge in 2009. Dr. Hornick’s husband is also in the military, so her family has had the opportunity to live, work and play in other states, including Hawaii and then Alaska. While in Hawaii she served at the Naval Health Clinic at Pearl Harbor. In 2015, her family received orders to the Sacramento area and they were thrilled to move back to California. Dr. Hornick enjoys all aspects of optometry but has a passion for treatment and management of ocular disease, especially dry eyes.
H. Douglas Cooper, M.D.
A native of Idaho, Dr. Cooper graduated Cum Laude in 1981 from Brigham Young University in Utah. During his undergraduate training, Dr. Cooper spent two years as a missionary in Venezuela, where he became fluent in Spanish. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1985, and then completed a yearlong intership at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. From 1986 to 1989, Dr. Cooper trained as an Ophthalmology Resident at Tulane University, where he received the prestigious "James Allen Excellence in Ophthalmology Award." He has also written and published numerous articles in professional publications such as "The American Journal of Ophthalmology" and "Archives of Ophthalmology."
